Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Installment Payment

Late Tuition Installments Policy

Late tuition installments may be charged a 15% administrative fee if not paid by the due date. If the participant fails to pay any installments within two weeks of the due date, a plan for payment must be arranged with the program director. The plan will be reviewed and approved by the program director and faculty. Failure to make tuition payments could result in the Fellow being dropped from the program. Under special circumstances, alternate payment schedules can be developed. Please contact the program director if you feel you need an alternate payment schedule.

Withdrawal Policy

If the participant independently decides to drop out of the Program for any reason, including emergency medical conditions, on or after September 15, 2020, no tuition will be refunded.

Once the program has started, if a Resident chooses to leave the Program for any reason (e.g. illness, family responsibilities) or is requested to leave for any reason other than misconduct on the part of the individual, a partial refund of the tuition paid may be granted. Tuition payments or refunds will be coordinated with scholarship awards.  No tuition refund is granted if the participant is asked to leave the program due to misconduct.

Cancellation of Program

Kaiser Permanente reserves the right to cancel the Residency program after an offer letter may have been accepted, before the beginning of a session, because of unexpected changes in levels of funding, insufficient enrollment and/or unusual, extenuating events (e.g. natural disasters) which prevent the organization from continuing the program. In the event of a cancellation, Kaiser Permanente will refund the entire amount of any tuition paid by the physical therapist for the session which is cancelled.  Kaiser Permanente shall have not obligation to pay wages or a stipend, or provide any of the benefits described in this offer letter for any period after the program has been cancelled.
