Feeling unsure about vestibular cases? In this hands-on lab, we will develop our skills in evaluating and treating common vestibular presentations in everyday settings that may not have access to specialty equipment, such as the hospital, home health, and general outpatient clinic. We’ll cover differentiating between BPPV, peripheral, and central vestibular conditions, intervention progression, and prognosis.

Objectives

  • Choose interview questions and interpret patient responses to assist in differentiating between vestibular conditions
  • Explain the rationale for performing specific tests and measures associated with the evaluation of vestibular conditions
  • Perform specific tests and measures associated with the evaluation of vestibular conditions.
  • Assess the quality of examination data to design an intervention plan and progression addressing multiple aspects of a vestibular presentation.
  • Perform interventions associated with addressing multiple aspects of a vestibular presentation.
