Bio

Christina Stock Berdoulay graduated from the University of California Davis with undergraduate degrees BS in Physiology and BA in Psychology. She attended University of Southern California where she earned her Masters of Physical Therapy degree in 1991. She served as the acute care coordinator at Kaiser Vallejo Rehabilitation Center from 1993-1998, helping to develop Kaiser’s first CVA critical pathway as well as deep vein thrombosis and tissue plasminogen activator protocols. She completed the 6 month PNF program in 1992 and began teaching in the PNF program in 1993. She became an entry level International Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Instructor (IPNFAI) in 1996 and an advanced level instructor in 1998. She has taught PNF throughout the US as well as abroad in Japan and Europe. She is an adjunct associate clinical professor at the University of California, San Francisco/ San Francisco State University DPT program teaching both PNF and CVA sections in the neuropathokinesology course and has presented at the CA chapter APTA conference on CVA rehabilitation. Christina has been a primary mentor in the Kaiser Permanente Northern California neurologic physical therapy residency program at Kaiser Redwood City since its inception for both acute and outpatient segments. She is a member of the APTA and its Pelvic Health Section, receiving her American Physical Therapy Association Clinical Instructor Certification in October 1999. Christina is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor (ACCI) Level I.

Christina also has a strong interest in pelvic health and currently treats clients with pelvic issues in her clinic at Kaiser San Mateo. She serves by request on several regional Kaiser Northern California regional committees including Sexual Health and Wellness, Pelvic Physical Therapy Regional Work Group, Functional Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery as the sole physical therapist amongst surgeons. Christina was invited to participate in the first course for PT Examination and Treatment of the Transgender Patient in Boston in May 2018 and then brought the same course to San Francisco in April 2019, serving as both course organizer and lab assistant. She has been involved in the development of a new program for and is now teaching in the Gender Expression Care program at Kaiser Redwood City that went live in June 2021.
