Bio
Daisuke “Dice” Arai is a senior physical therapist in the Kaiser Permanente outpatient physical therapy department in San Rafael, California. Dice graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2007. From there he completed and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. He then completed the Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center 12-month PNF residency program and then went on to complete the Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Manual Therapy & Musculoskeletal Primary Care Fellowship under Michael Bang PT. Soon after becoming a Board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy he began mentoring in the same fellowship program. Dice also teaches, as an adjunct instructor, at Samuel Merritt University helping with the 1st year orthopedic courses, medical management, imaging, and topics covering medical screening. He is a busy father at home but always tries to make time for an apple fritter.
