Bio
Kathleen Suwanski is a clinical specialist in the Kaiser Permanente outpatient physical therapy department in Walnut Creek, California. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology & Gender Studies, and in 2013 from the University of Southern California with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She completed the Kaiser Permanente Southern California Orthopaedic Residency in 2014, and the Kaiser Permanente Southern California Orthopaedic and Sports Rehabilitation Fellowship in 2016. Kathleen is a double Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedics and Sports, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Kathleen has been teaching in the Kaiser Permanente Northern California orthopaedic residency and fellowship programs since 2019. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, biking, running, traveling, and spoiling her rescue dog. Kathleen is an APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor (ACCI) Level I.
