Bio
Marlowe Banatao is a physical therapist in the Kaiser Permanente outpatient physical therapy department in Union City, California. He graduated from San Francisco State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and in 2018 from A.T. Still University with a Doctor in Physical Therapy. He completed the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Orthopaedic Residency program in 2019 and the Northern California Kaiser Permanente Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship program in 2021. He is also a board certified orthopaedic clinical specialist and certified sport and conditioning specialist. Marlowe joined the Kaiser Permanente Rehabilitation Services Education team as faculty for the Orthopaedic Residency program in 2021. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists and has a special interest in the biopsychosocial components of sports injuries. Outside of work, Marlowe has coached and been a strength and conditioning trainer for multiple high school basketball teams since 2012. He also enjoys golf, hiking, and walks through the vineyards with his wife.
