Bio
Stephen “Matt” Willey is a clinical specialist in the Kaiser Permanente outpatient Physical Therapy department in Modesto, California. He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1995 with a Bachelor of Art degree in Human Biodynamics, and in 2000 from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. He completed the Kaiser Hayward Physical Therapy Fellowship in Advanced Orthopedic Manual Therapy (currently named the “Kaiser Permanente Northern California Orthopaedic Physical Manual Therapy Fellowship”) program in 2012 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Othopaedic Manual Therapists. Matt has been teaching in the Kaiser Permanente orthopaedic programs since 2013. He has special interest in the treatment of sports injuries, specifically overhead athletes. Outside of work, Matt is an avid hiker/camper and enjoys professional Ice Hockey.
