Bio
Ryan Broms is the founder of Synergy PT and Performance, a sports therapy oriented mobile PT practice in the Silicon Valley. He graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a minor in Sports Nutrition where he assisted with research on metabolic cost of exercise on different surfaces. He graduated from UC San Francisco/ San Francisco State University Graduate Program in Physical Therapy in 2008. He graduated from the Kaiser Hayward Clinical Mentorship in Manual Therapy in 2013 and completed the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship in 2015. Ryan practiced at Kaiser Permanente for 10 years where he developed skills in several physical therapy settings including inpatient care, acute cardiopulmonary rehab, sports rehab and general orthopedic care. As a clinical specialist, he educated staff members through regular in-service presentations and provided clinical mentoring to young professionals. In current practice he enjoys treating patients of all ages with an emphasis on treating running athletes through sports rehabilitation and injury risk reductions strategies through strength and conditioning training. He teaches clinical mentoring and orthopedic manual therapy lab instruction at the residency and fellowship level.
